Circle Waste is known as the UK’s friendliest waste management company. When they contacted our Plann:d team, they wanted a workspace that was dynamic and functional, featuring collaborative areas alongside traditional office desks. They required ergonomic, visually appealing, and affordable seating that would match their existing furniture. The LOF team added vibrant colors to the seat back mesh and created different breakout zones for collaboration, focus, and brainstorming. A boardroom was designed for training new employees, while a built-in bar at one end was repurposed as another meeting area.
The space, previously a car showroom, posed some challenges. We brought in a builder to work with our office space planning team to address these issues. Our plan included moving walls, adding restrooms, and enhancing the overall functionality of the space. Since seating was a key requirement, we focused on solutions that would integrate with the existing furniture while ensuring ergonomic, aesthetic, and cost-effective options. Circle Waste now has an office that effectively reflects the fun and friendly values the business aims to deliver. Staff are happy and motivated, enjoying their work environment. By involving the Plann:d team early in the process, Circle Waste was able to achieve all their objectives from the brief, as we collaborated with the builders to create the necessary spaces and zones.
